Power Yoga

Power Yoga is a powerful and dynamic form of yoga, optimally adapted to the modern age. 

Power Yoga grew from the traditional  Ashtanga Yoga and has developed (with various modifications) to a training of a very special kind.

Power Yoga creates more strength, energy and flexibility. Whether you have stiff or aching joints, everyone can benefit from this intensive training. Power Yoga is a holistic body training. Stomach, back, legs, buttocks and arms are all trained together. It does‘nt matter with which level of physical fitness you begin. The first goal is to really feel your body through perceptive exercises. Movement and breathing control are essential elements to consider whilst your body indulges in flowing movements of sequences and positions. Power Yoga combines stretching and strengthening exercises with awareness of breathing. Power Yoga strengthens the muscles and promotes endurance and agility. Concentration and balance can be improved, stress situations can be relieved better and faster and tension can be alleviated.

Physically poor posture, long periods of sitting and repeated movements lead to chronic muscle stiffness, tension and physical pain as time goes by. It is the aim of the exercises to correct bad posture and to eliminate any disharmony between bones, joints and muscles. A straightening of the back, shoulders, neck and knees is a healthy side effect.

The tension in the body. Loosen the tension in the body and the tension in the mind, its borders perceive, respect and expand. A creative, powerful and challenging unit, for all those who like to find the balance between body, mind, tension and relaxation.

During this hour the individual Yoga positions will be powerfully and dynamically connected to build an optimal bridge between tension and relaxation. This course is suitable for beginners and experienced members who wish to improve their posture.
