Pilates

Pilates is an all-body training that brings body and mind into harmony. It is a gentle training method that simultaneously strengthens muscles and improves flexibility. The basis of Pilates is the work on the body center (Powerhouse).

Pilates, with emphasis on the pelvic floor muscles, promotes the functional unity and cooperation of the pelvic abdominal muscles and the perception and integration in everyday movements. It is ideal for women after childbirth or because of a weakness of the pelvic floor muscles. It is also very good for the prevention of incontinence.

Regardless of age and physical condition, the methods can be practiced by anyone. Pilates is suitable for women and men of all ages, for athletes, pregnant women and can also be used as a form of „retreat“.  An ideal enhancement to other sports such as Golf or Dancing etc.

Precision, coordination and control of movements make Pilates one of the most effective methods of body training.
